Today's weather was quite average for American Samoa, which is to say, it rained some and it was sunny some. Nothing special.

Down at the Lodge, only one guest. Looks like we may be entering a slightly slow period. It is always a good time to assess progress, perform repairs, and look for things to fix, clean, or otherwise pause and reflect on how to do things better.

Speaking of which, writing this has reminded me to contact the new maintenance crew and to get the ball rolling on some much needed repair work. One of the air conditioners is leaking coolant and needs a complete replacement. I guess that'll get done early next week or even late this week.

We're trying to cut down on electrical expenses, so we installed a new solar water heater on the Lodge. The hot water now arrives courtesy of our sun, and photons that traveled 1 AU to perform their magic.
